Greyson Chance (12) singing Lady Gaga
So this kid turned up on youtube recently, and quickly became a hit. The video has been up since April 28th, and so far it has close to 18 million views!
Not a Gaga fan myself, but I have no problem in recognising the talent in this twelve-year-old, and neither will you. Greyson has had three years of piano lessons, but never any singing lessons, which is amazing. Enjoy.
Little Red Riding Hood in schematics
Swedish electronica heroes Slagsmålsklubben (trans. “the fight club”) presents their easy-to-understand schematic of the old European tale of naive Red Riding Hood’s unfortunate encounter with the wolf. Also, a VW bus.

CodeOrgan creates webmusic
Enter a website address, and CodeOrgan plays the html body as music. Not my kind of music, perhaps, but interesting still. Makes me wonder what a website would look like if it was built to sound like something recognisable – like Lennon’s Imagine. Something to consider for the numerous fan sites online!

Jeep techno stunt
All the sounds are actual sounds coming from that Jeep Cherokee – recorded live!
Very cool. Makes me wonder how the European car techno would sound, compared to the American seen here. Or the East Asian, that could be interesting!

Christmas light musical show
The American tradition of decorating houses in christmas lights came to Norway a few years ago, and has spread like a plague. It’s really, really annoying for those of us that finds it … annoying. But I still think this video is kinda cool.
EDIT: Just found this, which is just over-the-top crazy:

Amazing juggling by Michael Moschen
I have to admit, I have never heard of Michael Moschen or seen this show before, but I can easily see how he is considered one of the world’s top jugglers. A most original and fascinating act, this. The thing that impresses me the most is how he juggles the one ball with his feet. Such discipline.
For insight of how his magic works, here is a 37 minute video from TED.com:
The heart and the double circulatory system explained

Neil Young tells a story
Your headset on and your volume up for Mr. Ronald Jenkees!
I saw a video blog entry a while ago which featured some very very cool background music. Every few years or so, I find myself listening to something, going “what IS that music? WHO made that music? I need to know!”. And then I dig around, and eventually find myself totally digging an artist, or even a kind of music, I never knew before.
And so, this is Ronald Jenkees.
Judging by his YouTube videos, Ronald is a very likeable and honest fella with a musical talent rarely seen. He has released two albums, “Ronald Jenkees” (Spotify link) in 2007, and “Disorganized Fun” earlier this year, both available from his website https://www.ronaldjenkees.com/cd-store/.
But if you have trouble coughing up the $12 his CDs cost, fear not!
From Ronald’s homepage: “If someone has no way of paying for my music, or if it’s “against their religion” to pay for anything digital (LOL), whatever the reason, I’d personally rather those people be able to enjoy my music rather than to not hear it at all. I’m not going to give a tutorial on how to download torrents of my album (google it, it’s simple stuff) but I’m also not going to hate on anyone that downloads my music or shares it with a friend. That said, I still think it’s important to support the stuff you like whether that’s software, music, whatever.”
I’ve become a fan, eager to see what he comes up with next.
